Leonora Haag is a Kathak dancer based in Sweden, recognized as one of the country's promising talents in the Indian classical dance form. Her training in Kathak commenced in 2015 under the tutelage of Veronica Tjerned. Since then, Haag has actively engaged in the Kathak dance scene, regularly performing as a member of Indisk Dansakademi's youth company, known as Kathakkompaniet. Her dedication to the art form has been noted, with her being described as a devoted, loyal, and hardworking student. Haag has showcased her Kathak performances at significant cultural events in Sweden. In 2022, she was among the artists featured at the Stockholm Sangeet Festival, an event that celebrates Indian music and dance. The following year, in 2023, she performed Kathak at the Nava Gati Contemporary Indian Dance Festival, which is curated by Farhang förening/Movement in Exile and aims to present innovative and groundbreaking dance rooted in Indian classical forms. Her participation in such festivals highlights her active role in promoting and performing Kathak in Sweden. The Nava Gati festival, in particular, provided a platform for her to perform alongside other dancers in a pre-show segment titled "Na dhin digi digi".
