Veronica is one of the leading dancers within the field of Indian classical dance in Sweden. She is teaching all over Sweden and is educated both at DOCH, Dance university collage Stockholm and studied further at Bharata Vidya Bhavan in London and later intensive studies in Kolkata for Rhythmosoc and Dr. Mitul Sengupta. Beside Kathak, has she studied tabla under Shree Debasish Mukherjee from 2007 to present time. She also study Hindustani vocal from Shree Asish Chakraborty. She works as a dancer, dance teacher and choreographer. Veronica Tjerned is the artistic director for Dada, Den Asiatiska Dansakademin, and also run the two dance companies, ghunghuroos for young dancers and Swedish Kathak mafia, in Gothenburg.
