I began my Bharatanatyam journey at the age of seven under Guru Shanti Murugiah, and completed her Salangai Pooja at twelve, and performed her Arangetram in 2000. She later trained at Laasya Arts Academy under Mathura Natya Maamani Srimathi Dr. Guruvayur Usha Dorai and Guru Shri Abdullah bin Abdul Hameed, completing her Margam and earning the title “Nrithya Taara.” She was conferred the title “Nrithya Malini” by the Kaapiyam Foundation and in 2019 she received the Kala Kamari Samman award.
