Pallavi Das is a distinguished Odissi dancer, recognized for upholding the legacy of her grandfather, Adi Guru Padmashree Pankaj Charan Das, who is credited as one of the four major gurus instrumental in the revival of Odissi dance in the mid-20th century. She represents his unique style and Gharana within the Odissi tradition. Pallavi Das has dedicated her life to the art form, performing widely and contributing to its propagation. Her training and performances reflect the profound influence of her lineage, emphasizing the purity and spiritual depth of Odissi. She has performed at various national and international festivals, including the Matheran Green Festival and Navodit Festival in 2015. Beyond her performances, Pallavi Das is actively involved in promoting Odissi through educational initiatives. She is associated with the Adi Guru Odissi Gurukul, where she conducts workshops and nurtures the next generation of Odissi dancers, including subjunior and junior students.
