He is the esteemed founder of 'Suravi', a prominent Odissi dance institution based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, which serves as a vital platform for both emerging and established artists. Dr. Biswal has carved a significant niche for himself on the national stage, performing at prestigious cultural festivals across India, including the Nishagandhi Dance Festival in Thiruvananthapuram, Kakatiya Festival in Warangal, Dusshera Festival in Kullu, Konark Festival in Odisha, and Chakradhar Samaroha in Chhattisgarh. He also performed at the Vysakhi Nrithyotsav in 2010 and the Saptashajya festival in 2021.
