Prishna Sinha is an accomplished Odissi dancer who received her training under the internationally acclaimed doyen of Odissi dance, Late Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra. She is also associated with Guru Ratikant Mohapatra through SRJAN and had the privilege of learning from Guru Shree Manoranjan Pradhan. Sinha holds artistic qualifications including NRUTYA BHUSHAN (PURNA) from Sangeet Natak Academy and VISHARADA (PURNA) from Akhila Bharatiya Gandharba Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai. She completed her MA in Sociology from Utkal University, Orissa, and has dedicated herself entirely to Odissi dance. Her career includes numerous performances across India and internationally. She has performed in cities such as Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Mysore, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai, as well as at prominent festivals like the Puri Beach Festival, Mukteswar Mohatsav, Dhauli Mohatsav, Konark Festival, Ekamra Festival, and International Odissi Festival in Orissa. Internationally, she has performed in Palermo, Italy, and was invited to perform at the Vedic Heritage in New York for the Deepavali Festival in 2007. Sinha has also been featured on various television channels, including Doordarshan and Tara Music. Prishna Sinha has been recognized with several awards, including the 'ODISSI JYOTI' award in 2008, the "Sringaramani" title from Kalke Kalakar of Sur Singar Samsad, Mumbai, and "Nalanda Nrutya Nipuna 2008" for her performance at the Mumbai Festival in 2007. She was also a recipient of the National Scholarship under Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, awarded by The Ministry of Human Resources Development, New Delhi, in 1996, and a National scholarship in Odissi dance from the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, in 2004.
