Priyanka Das is a dedicated and promising young Odissi dancer from India, based in Delhi. She began her dance journey at the tender age of three and has been trained in Odissi for over 20 years. Her initial training was under the tutelage of Late Guru Sh. Prabash Kumar Mohanty and Guru Vidhushi Kavita Dwibedi. She is currently continuing her training under Guru Vidhushi Lipsa Satapathy. Priyanka holds a "VISHARAD DEGREE" in Odissi Dance from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, having completed her Visharad Pratham Exam in 2022 from Gandharv Mahavidhyalay Mandal, Mumbai. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy & Sanskrit from Delhi University, which she completed between 2019 and 2023. Beyond Odissi, Priyanka has also received training in traditional Gotipua Dance, Sambalpuri Folk Dance, Basic Chauu, and Contemporary Dance. She is a recipient of the "Junior Scholarship Holder" from the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and is recognized as a Doordarshan Graded Artist by Prasarbharti. Priyanka has represented Odissi internationally in Russia (UFA, Sochi, Moscow) under the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Ministry of Culture. She also performed at the G20 Summit in 2023, with performances in Udaipur, Agra, Lucknow, Delhi, Uttrakhand, and Varanasi. As part of Nritya Kriti, Priyanka assists Guru Lipsa Satapathy as a faculty member, imparting learning and training to budding dancers. She has also been part of SPICMACAY workshops.
