Rupanshi Kashyap is an accomplished Indian classical Kathak dancer and teacher, primarily associated with the Kadamb Centre for Dance in Ahmedabad, India. She began her Kathak training at the age of six, following in her mother's footsteps as a disciple of the esteemed Kathak Guru Padma Bhushan Kumudini Lakhia at Kadamb. Kashyap holds a post-graduate degree in Kathak dance from the JG College of Performing Arts, Ahmedabad. She is a senior member of the Kadamb Performing Unit and an important performer in its productions, having grown up within the institution. Rupanshi has mastered various facets of the classical Kathak repertoire, including Laya-Taal, Padhant, Anng Shuddhi, and Abhinaya. She has performed as a solo artist at prestigious events such as the annual Saptak festival in Ahmedabad and the Raza Foundation's Uttaradhikar Series in New Delhi. Additionally, she has conducted Kathak workshops, including one organized by SPIC MACAY for students of Doon World School in Dehradun. Rupanshi Kashyap is also a teacher at the Kadamb Centre for Dance, contributing to the institution's legacy. Awards & Honours: Kal Ke Kalakar.
