Sadhna Lakshmi Venkatesh is an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer, teacher, Nattuvanar, and choreographer, who has also gained recognition as a child actress. She is the daughter and disciple of Smt. Lakshmi Venkatesh, a professional classical dancer and the founder of Sri Paadham Academy of Dance in Dubai. Sadhna underwent rigorous and sustained classical training in Bharatanatyam, culminating in her Arangetram in August 2017 at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan in Mylapore, Chennai, India. Her performances have graced stages across India, Dubai, and the United Kingdom, showcasing her artistic discipline, expressiveness, and commitment to traditional Bharatanatyam. She is actively involved in thematic and narrative dance productions, contributing to their creative direction. Beyond her performing career, Sadhna Lakshmi Venkatesh serves as a Nattuvanar, guiding and coaching students in Bharatanatyam, and is seen as carrying forward the legacy of her mother's dance academy. She began coaching students as early as 2020. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Sadhna is also a pediatric occupational therapist, specializing in sensory integration and child-centered care, demonstrating a journey marked by sensitivity and discipline across both art forms and life. As a child artist, she won the National Film Award for Best Child Artiste in 2014 for her debut film 'Thanga Meengal' and later starred in the internationally acclaimed film 'Peranbu' in 2018.
