Shweta Dhadda is a Kathak dance instructor and choreographer with over 15 years of experience in teaching and organizing dance performances. She is based in New York, USA, where she has been working as a self-employed dance choreographer since 2006. Her expertise extends to teaching Indian classical dance, specifically Kathak, to students of various age groups. Dhadda holds advanced academic qualifications in the field of dance, having earned Masters degrees in both Commerce and Indian Classical Dance from universities in India. This dual academic background underscores her comprehensive understanding of both the artistic and organizational aspects of dance. Her career in dance began in India, where she worked as an event manager and dance choreographer in Jaipur from 2001 to 2006. In this role, she managed over 35 events, including 25 weddings, demonstrating her capability in coordinating large-scale dance productions and events. During this period, she also advised on party decorations and themes, negotiated with suppliers, and coordinated with DJs, always keeping client budgetary limitations in mind.
