Smt. Ashritha Keshav is a prominent Kuchipudi dancer and teacher, recognized for her expressive performances and dedication to the art form. Her passion for Kuchipudi was initially sparked by her spiritual Guru Swami Chinmayananda, who reportedly prophesied her talent during her infancy. She received her extensive training under the tutelage of acclaimed Gurus Shri Kishore Mosalikanti and Smt. Padmavani Mosalikanti. Shri Kishore Mosalikanti is a direct disciple of the legendary Padma Bhushan Guru Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam. Ashritha Keshav has been a student of Jaikishore Mosalikanti for over 15 years, indicating her training began around 2009. Throughout her career, Ashritha Keshav has delivered over 50 solo performances across India and participated in more than 35 group performances with her gurus. Her international presence includes solo tours in 2017 and 2019, with notable performances such as her Kuchipudi concert at the Drive East festival in New York in 2019. She gained significant media attention by being the only Kuchipudi artist featured in The New York Times video series, #SpeakingInDance. Beyond performing, Ashritha Keshav has gracefully embraced the role of a teacher, promoting Kuchipudi as a vibrant and elegant dance form. She is based in Chennai, India, and also offers online classes. Academically, she holds a postgraduate degree in counselling psychology and was a state ranker in Class 12 in psychology.
