Smt Samidha Satyam is a prominent exponent of Kuchipudi, an Indian classical dance form. She is a distinguished disciple of the legendary Guru Padmabhushan Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam and Guru Shri Jai Kishore Mosalikanti. Smt. Satyam holds both Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Kuchipudi dance from P.S. Telugu University, India, in addition to a Master's in English Literature. Hailed as a creative artist, Smt. Samidha Satyam is recognized for bringing depth, intensity, and naturalness to her performances. Her dance is characterized by exquisite abhinaya (mime), flawless rhythm, profound emotional range, sensitivity, and classical purity. She has performed extensively in India and internationally, touring countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, South Africa, and Singapore. Smt. Satyam was an active participant in her Guru Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam's dance ballets, including "Ardhanareeswaram," "Ksheerasagara Mathanam," "Shakuntalam," "Annamayya," and "Gopika Krishna." She also accompanied Padmabhushan Mrs. Swapna Sundari and Guru Ms. Sailaja on international tours sponsored by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). In January 2008, Smt. Samidha Satyam founded the Sanskaar School of Dance (also known as Sanskaar School of classical dance and Sanskaar School of Kuchipudi Dance) in the Bay Area, California. The school, which has branches in Fremont, Sunnyvale, and Cupertino, is known for its personalized teaching approach and dedication to spreading Indian heritage and culture through Kuchipudi. She serves as the Director and CEO of Sanskaar School Of Kuchipudi Dance, Inc., which was officially filed in Dublin, CA, in 2012. Smt. Satyam has choreographed ballets like "Dasavataram" and her school's students have performed in various festivals.
