Subhasish Acharya is an Odissi dancer from Kolkata, India. He received his preliminary training in Odissi dance from Gurukul Academy Kolkata under the guidance of Smt. Sutapa Talukdar. He furthered his studies as a student and disciple of Shri Argha Chatterjee in Kolkata. Acharya holds a Masters degree in Performing Arts (Odissi Dance) from Reva University, Bengaluru. In addition to Odissi, he also trained in Bharatnatyam under Guru Thankamani Kutty and successfully completed his 'Visharad' in Bharatnatyam from Sarba Bharatiya Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad. Acharya has performed in various dance festivals, including the Barabati Festival, Ujjayant Dance Festival, International Odissi Dance Festival, Delhi International Arts Festival, and Nrutya Madhuram International Dance. He has also contributed as an assistant choreographer for the dance ballets 'Vahan Gativilas' and 'Paarvana' of Gurukul academy. Awards & Honours: Bharat Nrithya Thilakam.
