1926
Began Gurukulam Training — Commenced training at age ten with his father as guru.
1929
Joined Kerala Kalamandalam — Taken to Kerala Kalamandalam by Vallathol Narayana Menon and Manakkulam Mukunda Rajah, joining the first batch of Kathakali students.
1947
International Debut — Left Kalamandalam with Louise Lightfoot and became the first Indian stage artist to perform in Australia.
1949
London Debut — Reported to have had a sensational debut in London.
1953
Canadian Performances — Guest star for the Volkoff Canadian Ballet and performed in Montreal.
1960
Founded See India Foundation — Initiated an institution for friendship, the See India Foundation, with a branch in Cochin.
2001
Passed Away — Left for his eternal abode at the age of 86.
