1988
Began training under Guru S.C. Swain — Started training in Odissi in Delhi and Odisha.
1993-1995
Worked for Odisha state government — Served in the Science and Technology Department of Odisha.
1995
Began teaching Odissi and founded 'Chandrika' — Established her own dance troupe and started public teaching.

Lecture & Demonstration at National Ethnology Museum, Osaka

Performed in Kolkata, India — Performances at Rabindra Bharati University and Bhartya Bhasha Parishad.
2003
Performed for 50th Anniversary of Indo-Japan diplomatic relations — Also gave a Lecture & Demonstration at the National Nara Museum.

International performances and festival participation — Performed at Ise Jingu Shrine, Tenkawa Jinjya Shrine, Asia Music Festival, The Silk Road Symposium, and Dance Festival 'IMAGES' in Hope University, Michigan, USA.
