Journey Timeline

1988

Arangetram — Performed first full-length solo recital at age twelve on January 16, 1988, at Adyar Cultural Academy in Chennai.

1995

Began teaching career — Started teaching dance while training under Smt. Nandini Nagaraj.

2000

Moved to the United States — Relocated to the US and began actively promoting art.

2003

Received Washington State Apprenticeship — Awarded to expand her dance repertoire under Dr. Smt. Jayanthi Raman.

2007

Hosted The Dhananjayans — Master teachers Dhananjayan and Shanta Dhananjayan visited her 'From Within' school in Seattle.

2009

Student's Arangetram — Student Vidya Guhan completed her arangetram under Subhashini's guidance in July 2009.
