Shambhu Maharaj, born Shambhunath Mishra in Lucknow in 1910, was a legendary Kathak dancer and guru of the Lucknow Gharana. He was the youngest son of Kalka Prasad Maharaj, a court dancer to Nawab Wajid Ali Shah.
