Guru Smt. Srekala Bharath, Dancer and Director, Thejas School of Performing Art

A disciple of Padma Shri Awardee Smt Chitra Vishweshwaran, (Chitra Akka to all of us ) , Sharmada’s performance reflected the depth of training and discipline that comes from her parampara. Her footwork was clean and precise, her abhinaya was expressive and well thought out, and she maintained a strong connection with the audience throughout.
