Aditi Iyer is a dedicated and accomplished Indian classical dancer and educator, primarily known for her expertise in Bharatanatyam. Her journey in dance commenced at the tender age of four, leading to her debut performance under the esteemed guidance of Guru Srimati Kalamandalam Sudha. Her rigorous training encompassed learning from several distinguished gurus, including Dr. Sandhya Puresha, the founder principal of Bharata College, and Dr. Jayashree Rajagopal, a notable disciple of the legendary Dr. Padma Subramanyam. Aditi Iyer continues her pursuit of excellence in Bharatanatyam, currently learning intricate nuances of the form under Guru Srimati Mausam Mahindra, and also studies Carnatic music under Guru Srimati Kalyani. Beyond her performance and training, Aditi Iyer possesses strong academic credentials. She holds a Masters in English Literature from Calicut University. In the field of dance, she is a graduate gold medalist in Bharatanatyam from Bharata College of Fine Arts, Mumbai, an institution affiliated with Kavi Kula Guru Kalidasa Sanskrit University, Nagpur. Demonstrating her deep commitment to the art form, she also completed her post-graduation in Bharatanatyam from the same prestigious institute. As an educator, Aditi Iyer founded the Nupur School of Dance in 2009, where she serves as its director. The school was established with the clear objective of teaching and promoting the beautiful and classical art form of Bharatanatyam. Her professional engagements extend to the silver screen, where she made her debut as a dance guru for the character Mitali in the movie "Shabash Mitu." She has also been involved in various commercials and holds a unique distinction as part of a Guinness World Record, achieved through an online performance involving over 500 dancers from across the globe.
