Her artistic journey began with a strong foundation in contemporary dance and theatre, where she developed significant expertise, particularly in vocal expression. Prior to her immersion in Indian classical dance, she also explored Rom and African dance traditions. De Concini's decision to focus on Bharatanatyam was driven by its captivating movement and physicality, as well as its profound integration of theatrical elements and emotional expression. Holding a degree in communication, she found that Bharatanatyam uniquely combined all her interests, offering a powerful medium for self-expression through dance. Currently, Giuditta de Concini maintains an active career as both a performer and an educator. She conducts various Bharatanatyam classes and actively involves her advanced students in public performances across Italy. Her commitment to the art form extends to continuous personal development, regularly enhancing her knowledge through guidance from her teacher in India and participation in numerous specialized workshops. De Concini is passionate about fostering a dialogue between Western and Eastern artistic traditions, aspiring to weave elements from her diverse background into the rich tapestry of Indian dance theatre, thereby creating a "small bridge between West and East". She is closely associated with Associazione Jaya, an organization through which she offers Bharatanatyam courses and organizes events.
