Lakshmi Thiagarajan is a Bharatanatyam artist currently based in Madurai, India. She holds an MA (Honours) in Management and Philosophy from the University of St Andrews, Scotland, where she also pursued studies in Art History and the Philosophy of Art. Thiagarajan is recognized as an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer. Her arangetram performance, which took place around 2014, garnered significant attention, with notable attendees such as India's corporate leader Ratan Tata. In 2016, she performed a Subramanya kautuvam at the Sri Meenakshi Amman temple in Madurai during the Navaratri festival. This particular piece was choreographed by Smt. Priyadharsini Govind and taught to her by Ms. Apoorva Jayaraman.
