Priyanka Chauhan is a London-based community-led creative and Indian dance specialist, with over ten years of experience as a dancer and professional teacher. She is trained in the classical Indian dance form of Kathak, and also teaches, creates, and performs various Indian dance styles including folk forms like Garba and Bhangra, Bollywood, and fusion styles. Her work emphasizes inclusive arts practices and participatory production, focusing on the impact of arts and well-being spaces on the community. Chauhan has collaborated with numerous arts organizations across London, including Magic Me, Jacksons Lane Theatre, Union Chapel, East London Cares, Rambert, Pagrav Dance Company, The Bollywood Co, and Akademi. She is known for running inclusive dance projects, delivering holistic, dance-based workshops for marginalized groups such as women in domestic violence refuges, autistic young people, older people living with dementia, and individuals living with Parkinson's. Her teaching approach encourages dancers to connect with music, story, and movement, fostering a sense of wellness and confidence. Beyond her community and teaching work, Priyanka Chauhan has performed internationally with Pagrav Dance Company and The Bollywood Co. She has also appeared in major film productions, featuring in the semi-classical dance sequence of the 2021 Marvel release "Eternals" and performing in Shekar Kapur's 2022 film "What's Love" alongside Emma Thompson.
