Guru Prakash Yadagudde is a prominent figure in the field of Bharatanatyam, primarily based in the United Kingdom. With a career spanning over 30 years, and having taught at The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (The Bhavan) in London since 1984, he has played a pivotal role in shaping Indian classical dance in the UK for four decades. He is a faculty member at The Bhavan, where he teaches the Pandanallur style of Bharatanatyam. Throughout his extensive teaching career, Guru Yadagudde has mentored over 500 dance students, many of whom have gone on to become professionals in their own right. He is known for his devoted teaching approach, with senior students often noting his ability to nurture their individual artistic expressions while simultaneously building their dance repertoire. His teaching methodology adapts to the evolving times and the diverse backgrounds of his students, ensuring effective communication and growth. As a choreographer, Prakash Yadagudde has created productions that successfully resonate with a wide range of audiences. He studied choreography under Dr. May RA in Delhi. His students frequently showcase their talents in performances such as 'Nrithyarchana' and 'Nrithyaanjali' at The Bhavan.
